If you have been hit by Cupid’s bow, then this is the month when you can truly make a song and #dance about how much you love your other half. This February, why not let go of your #inhibitions at Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen by attending their Dirty Dancing Valentine’s Party. The event is being held on Friday the 17th of February and celebrates the movie’s 30th anniversary. The venue will be transformed to match the movie theme with disco balls, a wooden dancefloor, palm trees, coconuts and watermelon cocktails. You and your loved one will be able to go wild on the dancefloor to 60’s, 70’s and 80’s dance and pop music. Those couples who are extra daring will be able to recreate the famous Dirty Dancing lift with the help of a professional. Will you and your partners erotic dance moves match up to those of Johnny and Baby?
If you have no one to pamper or to pamper you, then don’t fret as indulging yourself has never been a sin. Find a new love in the form of a #hobby, and what could be more exciting then exploring the seas and oceans via scuba diving. The London International #Dive Show is taking place at the ExCel from the 16th to the 19th of February, and is the prime place for #scuba enthusiasts to get the latest information on diving holidays, training courses and dive gear. The show has been organised by the diving magazine Diver, and features a dive pool, a 3D free-dive simulator and the chance to try out new diving equipment. You will be able to get tips on dive orientated holidays. Presentations will be given at the show by the world’s leading divers who all have their own specialities which include wreck diving, wildlife experts and #filmmakers/photographers. The show is taking place alongside The London Bike Show, The Telegraph Outdoor Show and the #Triathlon Show: London, so if you’re not having much luck warming up to the thought of diving, you’ll have other options available at the event to make into your next top hobby.
