What’s on This Month
To help you start the month of July in a melodious and soothing way, then why not go and see the prodigious singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist #Stevie Wonder, perform at the #Hyde park #concert on Sunday the 10th of July. For this concert he will be showcasing his #Grammy Award winning 1976 album Songs In The Key Of Life in its entirety, 40 years after the Motown Records recording was first released. Artists like #Pharrell Williams, Corinne Bailey Rae and KING will be supporting this concert and will help intensify your soul and #R&B enjoyment.
If because of the of Wimbledon and Euro 2016 tournaments, you’re fed up of #tennis and football, then why not take a break from it all and go watch the London Beach Rugby. This #tournament takes place on the 29th and 30th of July at Finsbury Square and is free for the public to watch. This charity event will be played on a specially created sand pitch. Teams made up of 5 members will play for seven minutes and will be allowed up to three touches/tackles before the ball is turned over to the opposition. Cornish ale Doom Bar are sponsoring this tournament and the event also includes a sports stand and the Doom Bar Experience, where you can race on rowing machines or just sample beer. Which sport do you enjoy watching the most?
What are your favourite pizza toppings?
I think it’s safe to say that most people enjoy eating #pizza, and if just thinking about it makes your mouth water, then #MySliceFest is an event you must attend. This mega pizza #festival will have pizza fans rejoicing and takes place at Wembley Park on Saturday the 30th of July. Being served on the day will be pizza cones, pizza waffles, pizza popcorn and of course good old fashioned pizza. And if that isn’t enough to entice you, there will also be beer pong, giant Connect Four and tomato throwing competitions. #Music will also enhance your pizza eating experience with various soundtracks provided by the likes of Guy D’Angelo, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Off Colour and Sammy Porter.
